Daniela Hantuchova has won her second career title at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, which she also won for theĀ  second time. Hantuchova beat Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 and ended her title drought.

Hantuchova, who took out Martina Hingis on her road to the finals, was over the moon with her second tournament win.

At matchpoint it was Kuznetsova’s forehand that went out and Hantuchova was already jumping up and down with her hands in the air.

Hantuchova pretty much dominated the match against Kuznetsova. With her hard and accurate groundstrokes and well timed attacks at the net she overcame Kuznetsova to take home the impressive Indian Wells title.

“This one is even sweeter,” Hantuchova said. “It is better that I won here again rather than some tiny little tournament for my second win.

“There is something special about this place. I don’t know what it is. But I love it so much.”
